Yahoo tasked us with creating an adaptable space inspired by the Yahttitude! for Cannes Lions, aiming to raise brand awareness and engage attendees with memorable experiences. In our second year, we aimed to surpass previous standards by providing an inspiring and comfortable environment.
THE TRUTH
Cannes Lions drew a vast creative crowd, but the festival was crowded with branded pop-ups. Our goal was to stand out as fresh and exciting, offering a relaxing oasis for Yahoo engagement.
THE SCENE
“Yahoo Oasis” blended French Riviera charm with Yahoo’s unique style, featuring a Yahoo-themed lighthouse as its centerpiece. The space offered shade, a cool breeze, cozy seating, and modular meeting pods on the pier, accommodating various events, from casual lunches to formal dinners and lively parties.
THE LOVE
Yahoo Beach became a cherished retreat year after year, praised as a “refreshing Oasis in Cannes.” It fostered new client relationships and hosted memorable events, including a grand finale with deadmau5 and glowing purple helmets on the dance floor.
