THE CHALLENGE
Our client, ITV Studios, had outgrown their space inside the Palais and wanted a new home outside, alongside other global brands such as Disney. Their goal was to stand out from the crowd and disrupt the competition. Showcasing their brand as innovative, cutting-edge and surprising.
THE TRUTH
ITV Studios had diverse content and needed an adaptable venue for showcasing it. We aimed to create an efficient plug-and-play approach to meet various themes’ dynamic needs simultaneously.
THE SCENE
We created a two-story pavilion manufactured from 10 shipping containers, deriving from a modular structure that is assembled in just 48 hours. It was adapted with full glass ends, side openings, wet weather proofing and significant structural reinforcements.
The ground floor houses a multitude of meeting rooms and pods while the second floor contains an open plan events space plus meeting rooms, cinema, studio, balcony, catering areas and kitchen. The pavilion integrates power, lighting, IT, internet and AC and even features an elevator to the second floor.
THE LOVE
The ITV house at MIPCOM left a strong impression, offering a versatile 400 sqm space with 5 meeting rooms and 26 meetings. Designed for reusability, it has been used in major global events and adapted for smaller ones like ATF in Singapore.
