After two years, Cannes Lions is finally returning as a face-to-face festival, and DesignScene is bringing our skills back to the French Riviera to create incredible events for five amazing global clients. Our team is thrilled to be heading back to connect with some of the best creative talent in the advertising industry and keen to see the array of work from all the brands which will be attending.
In the past two years, although we were unable to bring our stand-out experiences to Cannes, we spent our time exploring new technology, suppliers, vendors, and ways of working in a more sustainable way. All of this building up to this moment, where we finally get to use all of our fresh thinking at the biggest creativity festival in the world.
We have designed cabanas and other fun brand activations to be used as spaces to relax, network, learn and play. Our clients’ ‘scenes’ have been designed to connect visitors to the chic setting and provide everything from a mental escape to a physical challenge. We placed a strong focus on making the most of these spaces, adapting them to be used from morning to night in new, fun, and innovative ways, to help them to get noticed.
“Cannes Lions is such a big moment in the industry and DesignScene has been heavily involved in it over the years. The whole team is really happy and excited to finally get back and show off their hard work and talent to create a scene for some world-class brands.” – Attila Keskin, Founder & CEO, DesignScene
And what could be a better way of welcoming our new Executive Creative Director, Simon Moriarty, than one of the biggest events in the advertising industry? Simon has certainly been busy getting stuck in and getting familiar with all our Cannes events. Ongoing, he will head up the creative direction of all DesignScene client work, leading the creative team and bringing to life his strategic and creative visions.
“It has been such an excellent time for me to join DesignScene, during one of the most important activations of the event industry’s calendar. It’s been a pleasure to see all their hard work and the creativity put into action ahead of Cannes Lions. I’m very much looking forward to leading such a talented and committed team.” – Simon Moriarty, Executive Creative Director, DesignScene.
Attila, Simon, and the team are looking forward to connecting with clients while in Cannes. If you will be attending the Cannes Lions and want to connect don’t hesitate to reach out to Attila at attila@designscene.com.
